Tom Munro Glass

 I have been self employed since 1991, primarily working as a Software Developer, and as a consequence I am disciplined, manage my time effectively, and am used to satisfying my clients' demands for high quality work and meeting deadlines. In March 2000 I moved from the United Kingdom to New Zealand as a permanent resident, but continued to spend most of my time working for a UK based company, and in March 2003 I became a New Zealand citizen.

While my work primarily involves developing software for the Windows platform, I believe that Linux and BSD operating systems have significant advantages over Windows in many situations. Consequently I use Gentoo Linux and FreeBSD whenever possible, and my main use of Windows is when developing for that platform.
